Cazzu Joins Alicia Keys On Stage: «The Crossover We Needed»

The American singer invited the Argentine trap diva to her concert in Buenos Aires

Without a doubt, Alicia Keys is one of the most important artists in R&B music in the present. The American singer and songwriter has racked up dozens of awards and hits such as ‘No One’, ‘Girl on Fire’ and ‘If I Ain’t Got You’, among many others.

In the case of Cazzu, she is one of our urban queens and she’s even in one of the best moments of her career. The Argentine trap star has just released her latest album, Nena Trampa (Deluxe Edition). A few weeks ago, she also announced her pregnancy on stage with an iconic reveal at the Movistar Arena in Buenos Aires.

Apparently, these two music divas may not have very much in common, but recently they have surprised many of us with a performance together in which they really brought talent and sensuality in equal parts. Alicia Keys gave a concert in Buenos Aires on Sunday, May 7, for which she wanted to count on the company of Cazzu. And we have to say that they gave us a very dazzling live collab!

Cazzu Joins Alicia Keys on The Stage

The Argentine diva sang a version of her hit ‘Nada’, the song she shares with Lyanno, Rauw Alejandro and Dalex. After accompanying her until the first chorus of the song, Alicia Keys began to interpret ‘Underdog’. The performance continued with Cazzu making a beautiful Spanish cover of the American song. It was simply amazing!

Each one of them kept their own essence but made a great combo at the same time, leaving their fans speechless. «It wasn’t in a metaverse, it was at Movistar Arena», «The crossover we didn’t know we needed» and «This is truly iconic» are some of the comments that stand out in social media.

Cazzu also wanted to show her gratitude to Alicia Keys for the invitation. «Yesterday this happened to me, that not even my imagination had reached me to dream it», confessed the singer from Buenos Aires. «Alicia Keys is the most beautiful person I’ve ever met! Thank you», she added.

On her part, Alicia Keys is currently focused on her Alicia+Keys World Tour 2023, with which she will tour some of the most important cities in Latin America this May. In addition to the concerts already held in Brazil and Argentina, the New Yorker will pass through Chile, Colombia and Mexico. Moreover, in the summer, the interpreter of ‘Empire State Of Mind’ will visit more than 20 cities in the United States with her Keys to the Summer Tour.
