Manuel Turizo has teamed up with a well-known cosmetics brand to capture the essence of Latin culture. To bring this idea to life, the Colombian artist has done what he does best: he released a new song called «ojos. labios. cara,» and its music video gives us a sneak peek into the fast-paced world of video production.

In his own words, it’s “something fresh for you to enjoy.” Instead of focusing solely on the final product, the official video, directed by Chris Sojka, starts by showing a preview on a screen, with a blue backdrop setting the scene for one of the sequences. Technical details such as a breakdown of the script, listing the names of the people involved in the project and the production schedule, are highlighted. This includes call times on set, makeup and wardrobe schedules, and even a quick lunch break.

Eyes. Lips. Face.

Similarly, the video reveals the storyboard with different camera shots to be captured, including wide shots, close-ups, and more. Manuel steps out of a car and takes his place on the set, patiently waiting for one of the actresses who stars in the first scene. She arrives last, along with the rest of the dance ensemble, to perform a ritual that includes the words “ojos, labios, cara, go!” Manuel swiftly moves around the room, handling tasks like signing agreements, having his makeup touched up, and making important career decisions.

Collabs

In addition to this song, Turizo has recently announced another collaboration with Fuerza Regida called «Una cerveza,» which will be featured in the album of the regional Mexican group, “Pa las baby’s y belikeada.” It seems that after his previous collaboration, «De Lunes a Lunes» with Grupo Frontera, the singer has developed a liking for Mexican music genre.
