Barbie’s ‘Pink Carpet’ in Mexico City: LOS40 Talks with the Hollywood Stars

Among the most eagerly awaited films of the year is the live action “Barbie” movie, featuring Hollywood stars Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling, under the direction of Greta Gerwig. The film will be released in Mexico theaters on July 20, and in The United Stated the day after, on July 21.
Pink Carpet
The pink carpet event was held at «Parque Toreo» in Mexico City. The occasion drew hundreds of Barbie fans, as well as some of the film’s stars: Margot Robbie (Barbie), Ryan Gosling (Ken), and America Ferrera.
During the presentation, the actors and the public were surprised by mariachis, who played “Son de la negra” and the iconic “Cielito Lindo”.

Margot’s Outfit
Margot Robbie’s pink dress, with a corset, mesh sleeves and a silver chain with star and moon pendants, was inspired by the «Earring Magic Barbie» doll from 1992.
