It doesn’t matter where you live, where you come from, or where you’re going: Christmas Day is one of the most exciting days of the year, where anything can happen. What we didn’t expect is that it would be the day Bad Bunny would treat us to his own listening party for his latest studio album, the highly anticipated ‘Nadie Sabe Lo Que Va a Pasar Mañana’ (Nobody Knows What Will Happen Tomorrow). An album that presents a concept very different from its predecessor, ‘Un Verano Sin Ti’ (A Summer Without You), returning to trap, hard bars, nude and dark colors, bringing us a bit of Jersey Cut and Italian mafia vibes.
The Puerto Rican artist dedicated some fantastic moments to us through an Instagram live session, as he has done on other occasions. As the tracks played, he also had some words for the artists he collaborated with on this latest work, such as Feid (‘PERRO NEGRO’) and Eladio Carrión (‘THUNDER Y LIGHTING’). In this case, attention was drawn to the words Benito dedicated to his fellow countrywoman, reggaeton artist Young Miko, who has undoubtedly had one of her best years musically.
Young Miko (real name: María Victoria Ramírez de Arellano Cardona) can consider 2023 as her fleeting entry into success. At 25 years old, she has become one of the leading women in the global urban genre. Her charisma, wit, and flow are what have earned her a legion of loyal fans who have begun to support her with viral hits like ‘Lisa,’ ‘Classy 101,’ or ‘DISPO,’ among others.
Bad Bunny, another of her devoted followers, did not hesitate to take the opportunity to express some kind words about the making of their collaboration, «FINA.»
«People, ‘Fina’ featuring Young Miko… thanks to Young Miko for the opportunity to collaborate and for rocking it cabrón. Since I created that track… you know I don’t talk shit, that when I collaborate with someone, it’s because that person is the one who inspired the idea, nothing more. You know that’s my protocol; I don’t make up themes for anyone to jump on. I don’t need anyone. I needed Young Miko for that song. That’s what the vibe was, it said, ‘please, I want, I need Young Miko,'» explained the artist.

Benito also gave some more specific details about what it’s like to be in the studio with talent like Miko. «Young Miko said yes, the experience was super cabrona; I saw her working there. I was a fan before, but that day working… when I work with artists and see what their system is, I gain respect for them. And I saw her work, saw her put it together, create the flow, and she killed it,» he added.
And you, do you think we’ll see both artists singing together on Bad Bunny’s upcoming «MOST WANTED TOUR»?
