Bad Bunny, Ozuna and J Balvin are three of the most important artists in Latin music in the present. Every song they release becomes a hit and their music amasses hundreds of millions of streams, and the same goes for their music videos. They’ve become so popular that they’re members of the exclusive ‘Billion Views Club’ on YouTube. This means they have achieved over a billion views for their videos.

In fact, it has been quite some time since Bad Bunny, Ozuna, and J Balvin joined this club. In 2019, Ozuna broke the record and became the artist with the most videos in the Billion Views Club. With a total of seven videos, the Puerto Rican artist surpassed Justin Bieber, who had held the record until then.

Since then, the top position has changed hands. Bieber regained it, but in 2022, he had to share it briefly with J Balvin, as both artists had 11 videos with over a billion views. However, at the beginning of 2023, Ozuna once again stood out and surpassed his peers with two new entries into the club, namely ‘Síguelo bailando’ and ‘Diles’. This achievement increased his total to 13 videos.

From that point until yesterday, May 17, Ozuna remained at the top. However, as confirmed by Billboard magazine, Bad Bunny and the Colombian hitmaker have now matched Ozuna’s record with their collaboration from 2017, ‘Si tu novio te deja sola’.

The Hits That Could Join The Club

All three artists have so many anthems and so much success with them that both Ozuna, J Balvin and Bad Bunny count on more song candidates to surpass the billion views before you think.

Everything points to Ozuna’s ‘El Farsante’ entering to the club, a music video from five years ago that accumulates 977 million plays to date. ‘Te Vas’ and ‘Dile que tu me quieres’, with 881 and 876 million views, respectively, will take a little longer.

J Balvin could make it soon with ‘Say My Name’ featuring David Guetta and Bebe Rexha, a video that already amasses 982 million views. Not far behind are his songs ‘Agua’, with 915 million; and ‘Ginza’, with 858.

Finally, Bad Bunny could get his 14th entry with ‘Báilame Remix’, his collab with Nacho y Yandel, which as of today has 975 million plays. The next one could be ‘Yonaguni’, which only a year after its release already has 828 million views.
