Ashley Tisdale, known for her role in the iconic film series «High School Musical,» is facing a lawsuit for allegedly causing «serious injuries» in a car accident. The incident took place in September of the previous year, 2022, on Hollywood Boulevard. A woman named Lina Gonzales has filed a lawsuit against the actress, claiming that Tisdale was responsible for causing her «serious injuries» during the accident, as reported by TMZ. According to Gonzales’ attorney, the actress turned her car into the wrong lane and collided with the plaintiff’s vehicle.
But that wasn’t all; according to Gonzales’ defense, represented by Michael R. Parker, at the time of the collision, Ashley Tisdale created a «big fuss» and allegedly even insulted the plaintiff.
As a result of the car accident, Gonzales claims to have suffered serious injuries to her neck and back and blames the actress for the high medical expenses she had to bear for these conditions, amounting to $140,000 (approximately 130,000 euros), as reported by the entertainment portal.
However, what does Ashley Tisdale have to say about all this? According to the actress’s attorney, there was «no aggression or exchange of words» from Ashley after the accident, as reported by the New York Post.
As for Ashley Tisdale’s current endeavors, she is no longer involved in the world of acting. Instead, she is focused on her skincare and body care product business, Frenshe. She has been married to musician Christopher French since 2014, and they had their first child, Jupiter, just a couple of years ago.
Recently, Tisdale made headlines again after publicly confessing her struggles with alopecia for the past year to raise awareness about this hair loss issue: «There’s no need to be ashamed.»
