During Weekends with Adele residency at The Colosseum at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas (which will be running through November), the renowned singer of «Hello» and «Rolling in the Deep» took notice of a sign held up by an audience member. While attending the concert, New Yorkers Chris Dare and Shantelle Lord held up a sign that read: ‘Adele, will you do our gender reveal?’ It’s worth noting that signs are apparently not allowed, but the couple managed to sneak one in, and the singer actually saw it.
Later on, the couple received an invitation to join Adele at the front of the stage to have her do the honors for the grand reveal. Lord excitedly disclosed that she was 18 weeks pregnant, while Chris Dare had a sealed envelope with the anticipation that Adele would disclose its contents.
With the singer sat on the stage’s edge, she meticulously unfolded the envelope and shared the news with the audience. After delivering the announcement, naturally, the couple was overjoyed by the news. However, Adele herself was also overwhelmed with emotion, and even burst into tears.
